Anonymous is a loser

This guy that keeps leaving comments as anonymous......has a poor vocabulary. You can tell it is him over and over again because the only insult he knows is "idiot". Clever anonymous, clever.

I don't know why but at the bottom of the posts it shows no comments when in fact there are comments being made. Here is one of them:

Well, no I am not an idiot, anonymous commenter. If you had paid attention to what I wrote you would see that I encourage anyone actually libeled to "take action" through the proper channels. The proper channels do not include cash rewards (bounties). The proper channel would be through the courts, and if Kevin could take legal action then he probably would have put that $1000 towards his legal bill.

My guess is he talked to a lawyer, they basically told him he has no case, so he thought up this brilliant reward scheme.

The Guardian......... well we'll have to see on that one. From what my legal sources tell me, they would have to prove to the satisfaction of the court that the author of the blog intended his readers to think that they were viewing something produced by the actual Guardian. Often times in cases like this the author can simply claim they were "parodying" and that's that.

I can't believe the general reaction to this whole blogger-hunt business.

Undoubtedly, I thought, most people, especially bloggers themselves, would be jumping to the defense of peiliberal.

Can't he say what he wants? As with television, viewers or readers or whatever you want to call them can just "turn the fucking channel" so to speak. Click away!

I can, however, appreciate the Guardian's concerns of libelous comments in the "fake" Guardian blog. Which, by the way, you would have to be fucking retarded to actually think was written and maintained by the real Guardian. So if they have met with legal council and have a valid case.......... then proceed! I'm sure there are proper legal routes to exposing the identity of the blogger if said blogger has committed a crime. Don't print a fucking "article" about Kevin that oh-so-conveniently furthers your own agenda. Soooo transparent.

The fact that Kev-O is offering a cash reward speaks to the fact that he has no legal recourse. But vigilante justice works here on backwards-ass-island. Why don’t we stone him in a public square for God's sake. Sheesh.

Will someone besides me please stick up for peiliberal? If he has done something wrong (I am referring here to the actual law not the made-up PEI "moral code" that everyone seems to think they can enforce as they please) then use the proper channels and deal with it like citizens of a democracy. GAH!!!

The Ridiculous PEI Blogger Controversy

To understand what I am going to talk about down below check out:

CBC’s idiotically written article on the matter. What is up with Gary MacDougall’s grammar by the way? "Of course, that's exactly what it does, it hides behind nobody knows who it is, where it's coming from." Um……what? I just wrote and then backspaced over a PEI education joke but you can make it in your head. And CBC puts this Shakespearean-caliber quote in the sidebar! Priceless.

This Kevin guy is one thing, using his business to stage a manhunt, but check out the Guardian. They are WAY out of line to print a "news article" about themselves and how they and ‘ol Kev want to know the identity of the blogger. To me, that amounts to running a front page wanted ad under the guise of real news.

And!! And!!!! Fucking CBC ran the story also! At least they didn’t print the blog names and point their finger so……..pointedly.

Kevin's claim that the gossip among Islanders will be punishment enough? Sadly, he is probably correct. How sad and boring is life here that someone’s crappy blog can cause such a big hub-ub? Prettyyyyy, prettyyyyyy, prettyyyyy, prettyyyyy……sad and boring.

If I had already moved the fuck off-island I could relate some personal accounts of the way people here behave and why that will likely be the demise of the province. But I am still living here and would rather not be somehow identified as “anti-PEI”. Heaven forefend!
